NOMINATION INFORMATION
Star Women in Convenience will recognize winners in three categories to ensure we are including outstanding individuals who make a difference across all areas of the convenience channel. Candidates can be nominated in one of three categories:
Senior-Level Stars (vice-presidents or higher)
Shining Stars (candidates who are not a vice-president or higher)
Store-Level Stars (owners/operators or managers)
Criteria:
- Must work in the Canadian convenience industry
- Must not have been a previous winner
- Those nominating an individual for this award will be asked to provide details on the following:
- Why they are nominating this person for the award
- Provide specific examples of the person’s achievements
- Provide details of how the person is contributing positively to the convenience industry
Nomination Form Questions
- Number of years the nominee has been in the convenience industry
- Why are you nominating this person for a Star Women in Convenience Award?
- Please provide examples of notable projects or professional achievements (including any company or industry awards).
- What are her primary responsibilities?
- What is the sphere of her influence (i.e. employee leadership, purchasing decisions, team management, brand management, etc.)?
- How is the nominee contributing positively to the convenience industry and/or larger community (i.e. involvement with industry organizations, volunteer work, other leadership roles)?
